Enable crossplay so players on Minecraft Bedrock (mobile, console, Windows 10) can join your Java Edition server. FreeServer.host supports this through the Geyser and Floodgate plugins.

Requirements

  • A Minecraft Java Edition server running a plugin-compatible platform such as Paper, Spigot, or Purpur.
  • Access to the Files tab of your server.

Install Geyser and Floodgate

Download the plugins

Get the latest builds from the official sites:

Upload to the plugins folder

Open the Files tab and go to the plugins/ directory. Upload both .jar files.

Restart the server

Restart from the console so the plugins load and generate their config files.

Verify

In the console, look for lines confirming Geyser and Floodgate started successfully.

Connect from Bedrock

Bedrock players connect using the same server address, on the Bedrock default port 19132. If you use a custom port, share it with your players.
